This is an online program with five Modules which will take you by the hand and help you create your own online course from start to finish. I have taken my years of experience, skills and knowledge and condensed it into a step-by-step easy to follow blueprint.
One of the things that I'm known for is being able to explain things clearly, simply and concisely. I won’t load you up with fluff or rambling stories which take forever to get to the point. Nor will I go into endless software options and different ways you can do things and suggest that you “play with each one” before making a decision. I know you don’t have time for all that! Sure, I do give a couple of different options for the best software to use for your automated emails for example, but I don’t go into an overwhelming list of all the different ones out there.
The T.E.A.C.H. Virtually System will cover everything you need to know such as where to start, how to tell whether your topic is going to be profitable, what and how much information to include, how to structure and write your course, how to get it online in a secure membership site, how to stand out from the crowd, how to get a steady stream of students enrolling into your course and much, much more.
I will help you avoid the top mistakes that can make or break your online course. As with anything new, there are pitfalls that you won’t be aware of until you've stumbled into them. By that time you may well have wasted countless hours going down the wrong track or wasted a lot of money. I will show you how to avoid the most common mistakes, that quite frankly can make or break the success of your online course.
What might one of these mistakes be? The most common pitfall that I come across is making your topic too broad and trying to go after too large a market such as how to make money, how to lose weight, how to get healthy, how to set up a small business, how to save time etc. While it may seem like a good idea to create a course with such a wide reach, it’s actually going to be a challenge to stand out from the masses of information already on those general topics.
Plus, your marketing is not going to be very effective because you're trying to appeal to anyone and everyone. One of the most crucial concepts to understand is the concept of the “niche” market, i.e. “a specialised but profitable segment of the market” (according to the Oxford Dictionary).
It’s counterintuitive but if you tailor your topic for a certain “niche” within the broader market such as time management for parents who work from home, weight loss for people who have over 20 kgs to lose, or marketing strategies for day spas, you're going to stand out much more because there will be fewer courses on this exact topic. It’s an undisputed fact that smaller niches are often underserved with content. Also, you'll be able to market your course much more easily because you'll be speaking directly to their individual situation.
So yes, it’s important to narrow down your topic but on the other hand, you have to make sure that you don't go too narrow and pick a target audience that is too small or too obscure. Fine tuning your topic and picking just the right angle is an art and something that comes with practice (of course, it helps immensely if you can bounce your ideas off someone who knows what to look for, and you'll be able to do that with me in the private Facebook group, but more on that shortly).
This is just a taster of the content that I cover in T.E.A.C.H. Virtually. You'll have everything you need in one place, which you save you untold hours trawling through Google, trying to piece together all the bits of the puzzle. You’ll no longer have that fuzzy feeling around technology because I have laid it all out for you. This will free you up and you'll actually feel inspired to finally get going on this!
